Delox is proud to announce its selection for funding by the European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator, joining 42 innovative companies chosen in the final 2023 cut-off. Notably, Delox was the sole startup selected under the EIC Accelerator Challenge: Aerosol and Surface Decontamination for Pandemic Management, underscoring our commitment to advancing bio-decontamination technologies that address critical public health needs.
The EIC Accelerator provides substantial financial support to high-impact startups and SMEs. The 42 selected companies will share up to €285 million in funding, combining grants and equity investments managed by the EIC Fund. This blended finance approach not only offers direct funding but also attracts additional investors, amplifying the total investment to over three times the EIC’s initial contribution. For Delox, this funding accelerates the development and deployment of our innovative bio-decontamination solutions.
In addition to financial backing, the EIC Accelerator offers Business Acceleration Services, connecting participants with industry leaders, corporates, and investors. These resources equip companies like Delox with the tools and partnerships necessary to scale their innovations globally, ensuring impactful solutions reach the market more effectively.
This achievement highlights the European Union’s dedication to fostering technologies that enhance public health resilience. Delox remains committed to advancing our bio-decontamination solutions to meet evolving global health challenges.
