Delox took part in a military biological threat simulation exercise which occurred at the Fire Brigade Battalion of Porto, on October 15th, 2021. 

The simulation exercise aimed to test the Portuguese Army capacity of response to a biological threat, as well as provide its forces with a close-to-real training activity.  As Delox shares a long and on-going partnership with the Portuguese Army, this was the perfect opportunity to test the company’s technology on the bio-decontamination of a medical vehicle, as well as present Delox innovation to a varied audience. The bio-decontamination process was monitored by using a hydrogen peroxide probe and its efficacy was evaluated through the use of chemical and biological indicators. 

This interesting experience allowed Delox to acquire more information and data on the bio-decontamination procedure of larger spaces, and its challenges and hurdles.
